The privately-held company is engaged in the production and supply of popping candy ingredients to the food and dairy industries. It was founded in 1979 in a small industrial plant in Sant Boi (Barcelona) to manufacture popping candy under the brand Peta Zetas. In 1994, the company moved to a brand new state-of-the-art production facility located in Rubi, Spain. The company is the world's leading manufacturer and seller of popping candies. It distributes its products under the following brands: Pop Rocks, Two to One, Fizz Wiz, Frizzy Pazzy, Olrait, Paint Brush, and Magic Ball. Its modern plant, with an area of over 10,000 square metres, operates in accordance with the GMP of the U.S. Federal Food and Drug Administration and the strictest EEC technical and sanitary regulatory requirements as well. The company also has affiliates in two key markets, the United States and Mexico. Its products are sold in over 60 countries around the world.
